I have the domain of facialdevastation.com where a friend and I were thinking about making a site full of all the really ugly girls you see at bars/clubs but then another friend said to make it a porn site and I just lost interest in the whole thing. Could you please give me a free appraisal ?

I read about a new dating site the other day for ugly girls which is picking up and getting a lot of publicity. You could wait a bit for a higher appraisal.

It could be a good name for a feedback site about different types of surgery - I guess you could go for a price of $150 - $200, but someone with reviews about surgery could go higher as an end-user.

Its a new startup in the UK/US called the ugly bug ball so it looks like that idea has been taken. It might be worth taking a look just to see if you can garnish some development ideas.
But I would take the advice of Johname on this one, he knows his stuff.

Thank you for the feedback. I think this is little far from criminal abuse. It may be a tasteless domain name with my tasteless idea behind it but that doesn't mean it isn't a great name for someones' great idea.

And therein lies your problem.

If you have an idea and reg a name to utilize it, put the work in to make the site popular, then you would make the name + site more valuable.

The problem is you had an idea, regged a domain to fit in with it ( or vice-versa, it doesn't matter which way round) and now you decided you don't want to do anything with the name, and are asking what the value of the domain is.

To a reseller the name is worthless, to an enduser (even if you can find one with a development idea for it) it is very low value also, simply because they could hand reg a variation of the theme for $xx.
