Sports like Skateboarding are ideal for 'rich media' sites with plenty of quality video content, using a .tv domain is the natural fit for such a development.
I expect to see more & more of these type of sites in the next few years, personally i hope the BMX companies are next to try such a site as i own 1,2 ideal BMX .tv's

Its the snowball effect we are all waiting for, sites like fuel.tv may have influenced them into using .tv.

Its nice that its their official skateboarding site, not just a video version of a dot.com. Hopefully more companies will launch full on websites using just .tv
