Beeld is a big Afrikaans newspaper in South Africa(owned by News24) and on their .com site they run an ad for their .mobi site. They point out that the cost for viewing is very cheap at only 2 cents per page.

And on their main page:

Agree with Arnie, this is really good.

News24 are huge in South Africa.

They also know a thing or two about domaining.

Rep added.

PS: I don't know what the headline in the first link means, but it sounds like something straight out of a heated .mobi thread: "Kry Beeld op jou selfoon!"

Great news :xf.love:
I am gonna take a wild guess and do translation on "Kry Beeld op jou selfoon!" Try Beeld on your cellphone! Did not use my google translator
( It won't let me!) So this is all my intuitive translating and hope its correct.
Binary, do the honors and tell if its correct. :)

Kry beeld op jou selfoon
It means " Get "BEELD" on your cellphone"

"KRY" means "GET"
"OP" means "ON"
"JOU" means "YOU"

Beeld is the name of the newspaper and the word "beeld" actually means "image"

Just a quick course in Afrikaans :)

Thanks for the quick lesson in Afrikaans.

Interesting how the name of the newspaper is "Image". Made me think of the English word Information with latin root forma ( :Shape, form & appearance) in it. As ppl say " seeing is believing" verifiable truth through the eyes seems to be what ppl wants when it comes to news source. Such sayings seems to surface in diff. cultures west to east. Very Interesting info. Rep added!
