Dronie.com registered 2014 by Twitter Inc but not used or redirected.

    https://www.whois.com/whois/dronie.com

They renewed it for 2 years 2018-07-05.

Does this affect the value of my Dronie.TV?

if they wanted .tv they would buy it but unfortunately they dont want it...
if you are registering domain other extension because .com is owned by big giant and extension is .TV??? then you should stop domaining right now and first learn from namepros...
Amazon own Jet.com and jet.org is available for sale in 18000 usd but amazon is not interested if they were interested they would buy .org with .com
but here jet.org have value not because jet.com is own by amazon but actually its one word have huge potential but if you will buy jet.org because amazon will buy from u then u need to stop and think before doing more registrations or buying of domains...

I registered the domain after reading this article. https://ideas.ted.com/20-words-that-arent-in-the-dictionary-yet/

I checked to see if anything was free and saw that .tv was free. I didn't know that T had anything to do with this 'generic' term that is a take on 'selfie'!

I just found out today when I was checking to see if there was any chance the domain might drop (it has no webpage or redirect).

Anyway, T don't have the right to the name apparently.

Errr... why should I stop domaining?!!! Be constructive pllllzzzzzz...

    Here are my random musings...

After reading the posted link, I just couldn't help but think "what a lot of droning on about dronie" :)

I thought the guys who run Twitter were smart. But apparently not. I thought you needed an actual business behind a trademark application. That's how smart I am :)

Providing you don't infringe on Twitter's future trademark. You should be safe from trademark infringement :)

They could just take you to court and bankrupt you, even without any trademark :)
