Big Problem With Registerfly.com!!!

Well, i bought a .ca domain about 1 week ago because i am starting a hosting company. usually when you register .com domains its instant activation but i was told (after phoning customer care witch is the worst customer care ive ever had) that it might take up to 72hrs. its now been about 6 days, ive called there customer care 4 times total. emailed there support 3 times. and even phoned the CIRA (Witch suppoidly they havnt approved the application the customer care lady said) so after i called the CIRA they told me that they hadnt recieved a domain appliction thingy and that i should call eNom because registerfly is just a reseller for them and i havnt had any help what so ever with registerfly.com. i was just wondering has anyone had this problem with registerfly.com before and what did U do to solve it?

Ah I remember having this problem actually, except that it wouldn't let me register the .ca domain extension. It probably has to be something with that application to prove your a Canadian citizen and all. I would probably contact Enom and ask them how .ca registrations work with registrations, wheter the applications are submitted by Enom or the reseller themself.

There are a number of restrictions that cira the operator of the .ca registry imposes. You must be a canadian citizen/business as one of them. Unlike .com registrations you must also confirm the initial application that cira sends out when you initially register the name. If you fail to confirm this your registration will be de-activated and ultimately deleted.

~Update~
Well im extreamly happy now thank you a lot Paul. my domain was registered properly and i got the email from the CIRA. i do advise you paul to tell the people that manage RegisterFly to try and improve Customer Service (Phone) because its funny to say that 4 calls to the companys phone line vs. finding a forum on google worked better. either than that im happy now.
