Hi Guys,
Please allow me to explain a little more about the current state of things at Bido. We have been very busy building a world-class auction platform as many of you have been along for the ride to watch it manifest and participate with us. Almost every day we roll out a new version. We constantly release new things and modify whats already there. We have built many automated systems and continue to do so. One of the things we have been working on is an autoresponder system to notify people if their names have not been accepted. Almost instantly your domains are being reviewed once they are submitted. If the domains were accepted you will quickly be notified and the listing process will be initiated.
Please keep in mind that a rising tide raises all ships. We are doing a lot for domain owners to make more money with their domains. We're on your side! Right now we don't have a system to automatically notify people if their names were declined. I agree perhaps that is unfortunate, but keep in mind its a temporary design nevertheless. Rest assured it will be improved. But do know that the website works and the submission form works 100% and your names, when submitted, are being reviewed. It is service to speak with owners of domains that were not accepted and thank them for their time, but it could easily become a "who's right and who's wrong" bickering and for anyone to be involved on either side is not fair for either party to debate. So, we realize it would be a service to communicate better and we're putting the effort to automate that aspect of it.
We have recently announced that there are no longer going to be weekend auctions, it is now 5 auctions per week. This will also greatly increase the amount of non-house domains as to date its strictly been house domains on the weekends with outside sellers' domains on the weekdays. I guess you can say that we sacrificed some domains to fill in these slots, thats the reason some domains sold for low amounts, if you look and see you will find they were weekend house domains. They severely weighed the averages and its just not necessary at this time to continue to run weekend auctions, for still further reasons as well. We experiment with direction, we're entirely proactive, and our ears are on the tracks. The entire process has been a learning process for all. Our intensions are good and if we fail to deliver a truly satisfying experience, please know that we're working on the improvements needed.
Of the 9 non-weekend upcoming auctions that are publicly viewable at
http://www.bido.com/UpcomingAuctions - only one is a house domain. We have more in the pipeline that cannot be seen yet. Each and every of the upcoming auctions were submitted via the normal channel. We have still many more domains in the pipeline, beyond what you see there now, that will soon be announced and viewable on the above URL, and again, none of those are house domains and all were submitted via the same form on our website. It is as if we broke free from the mold, the kickstart is complete, and sellers who are ready to sell and trust the market and the Bido system are stepping forward and submitting their names for consideration. Anyone who wants to sell with Bido is more than welcome. The guidelines are clearly written and explained, and this is the link to review them and submit your names whenever you are ready:

Also please know that transfers are now moving along much faster, we have taken some steps here internally to ensure names are paid for in a timely fashion by both the buyer and Bido to the seller, and domains are delivered in a timely fashion when the domain has been paid for by the buyer and the coast is clear. We did have a name that took a little longer to transfer than we would have liked, and SkyMan for that we apoligize here in public. Other than your slow transfer, we have had quite a bit of positive feedback, much of it is viewable on our testimonials page here:

Regarding the comments and notion if Bido is profitable, and how can we survive with one domain auction per day, Sahar touched on the topic two days ago here:
http://www.conceptualist.com/2008/08/05/bido-the-countdown-starts-to-november-5th/ We think he's crazy for posting the date there but it's good to watch the date get near and certainly keeps us focused and in creation mode.
Thanks for reading and we appreciate the discussion.
