Received an email today from reminder@ domainrenewalonline.com for one of my domains at Moniker.com
The email is a scam and they have been operating for a while now - they prey on people that don't know much about domains, etc and aim for businesses mostly.
As in summertime, a lot of replacements are in place and they hope to take advantage of their gullibility.
They try to be all official on their site with logos from high profile companies but don't be fooled, it's all an act and besides that you have your domain registered at Moniker and not with them.
They threaten that the domain must be renewed otherwise the domain will be lost and put on the market.
