.biz Between .org , .us and .biz

I found a good travel within usa related domain name. I have 3 options whether to register with ext .biz, .us or .org . .Anyone can give their opinion? Which one you think better to register?

If it is only in the United States and you are going to brand and develop it get the .us but if your trying for resale get the .org. Just my opinion

When refer to sales chart at dnjournal, I agree .org has more resale value. But still not understand why some people like .org coz I think it seem just suitable for non-profit organization?

I use stateExams.ORG it has more value then the .NET and .COM IMHO.

.org hasn't been for "non-profit" for a while now. I think it's a good domain for information and resource type websites.

If trying to sell something, or running a travel agent type site, probably .us is the best option. Particularly if it's within the US.

Domains are so cheap nowadays, I'd be tempted to register all three if you're planning to make some money from the site. .us is probably the most appropriate, .org is better known and I generally stay away from .biz as it tends to be full of spam, poker and casino sites.

I would generally go with .com .net .org .info .us just my preference. So although I like .org more than .us you mention that the name is targeted to us travel so that might be a better choice, kinda hard to judge without knowing the exact name and if it has a nice ring with the .us attached. If in doubt you could always grab the .org and the .us

If it's geared towards travel in the US, I think the .us extension would fit perfectly. .org makes it seem like an organization when it is actually a travel site.

I rarely come across .biz sites that aren't scams, spam sites, turnkey sites or "made for Adsense" pages. A disproportionate amount of the spam in my inbox comes from .biz domains as well.

Since it's a travel within usa related domain name, .us would be the most suitable to register. .org has a good value as compared to .us but i guess for a travel related site .org or .biz won't be good enough.

Do you think PrincessCruise.biz is a good domain?? All the other good extensions are taken...except .ws. Not gonna reg it, just curious as to whether it would be worth regging.

Go for the .us. I too do not understand the likeability of .org or .info for that matter. .US is nice and clean, and can be billed as patriotic and geographic.

I like the .biz domain name for business.
I really like the .us extension also, think they will really start to increase in value in the coming years.
.org is very popular, you should reg that one.

I come across more spam from .info's and .com's than I ever do From .biz sites
and I love .info's (+ .com's)
Anyhow Why let spam and it's source influence a purchase of a name.
ALL gtld's (and cctld's) have spam sites , so using your argument no-one would buy any domains at all.

And exactly what is wrong with Turnkey and adsense Sites any way,A major part of the income generated by all the domains owned by Namepros Members is earned from "turnkey", "adsense" Sites and (casino,poker and other Terrible sites) . Jeez ,you need to get out and sniff the domaining air. The internet is not just about sites on Travel or Social issues. Some of us need to pay the bills.


As to the question of the Choice of .org,biz or .uS
For a travel in USA name ,.US wins hand's down

If you plan on making money, I would go with the .us, I personally think .org should be reserved for resource sites and non-profits.
