Hello everybody

New to domaining ,zero sales so far ,I have about 23-24 domains ,only 3 listed at unrealistic BIN prices (I don't expect to sell any of them ,I just see it as better than playing the lottery)

What do you guys think of these domains ?

These are some of the ones I currently own :

Bethfashion.com
Jamiestore.com
GemResorts.com
LimoCompare.com
TotalWorkers.com
SkinCancerBlog.com
OakGas.com
cabezons.com
FindToRent.com
TechDetailer.com

Question to the PROS :

What do you think ? ..

do you think I can sell at least 1 or 2 of those domains at a decent price of $2000 ?

And the best way to sell them ?...at GoDaddy auctions ? or at a BIN prices at Afternic ,Atom, etc ?

I am fully aware that selling domain names is not easy however I see it as something "doable" (unlike some other online ventures)

Thank you

AfternicAfternic
GemResorts.com = $95 to $370 = Reseller Value Speculation (NOT an end user speculation)
The rest = $10 to $35 each = Reseller Value Speculation (NOT an end user speculation)

Ok
So if most 2 word domains are only worth $10 to $35 is better to buy only one word domains. And the GoDaddy appraisals and others do not mean squat and websites like Atom ,Saw ,Flippa are 100% useless....now I get it ha ha ! What I 've seen here is if someone wants to quit domaining everybody encourages the person to do it (makes perfect sense : more quitters = less competition ). I do NOT need to sell a single domain anytime soon. Thanks for your awesome and encouraging advice.!

Even if these name were good (they aren’t) at a 1% STR your odds of selling 1 or 2 of them anytime soon are extremely poor.

Stop thinking of it as a lottery and start thinking of it like a business.

ok ,so all the appraissal tools like GoDaddy and others and the Marketplaces such as Atom ,Flippa ,etc are absolutely BS and whatever quotes they give you are absolutely BS as well ...At least I bought most of my worthless domains at the regular price of $11 and change and a few at $2- $3

Correct, none of those tools should be used to evaluate domains.

Kyle Tully : so why those useless BS websites I mentioned are in business year after year ?...how exactly they make their money and why people pay for their services ? And nobody buys domains there ?...is that so ? ... listing there is also useless ? is that so ? (if most domains .com are only worth $5- $10 I wonder how they survive )
Thanks

They make money by selling domains.

That has nothing to do with the usefulness of their valuation tools.

In fact they are incentivised to tell people their domains are worth something 😉

This is not a controversial take. While some of these tools have limited use for comparing domains they are useless for pricing or evaluating domains on their own especially at the lower and higher end.
