BestMove.info - safe enough to proceed?

Quite some time ago I submitted the domain name BestMove.info for appraisal and got some fairly positive responses, suggesting I develop it to focus on anything from home removals to finance to board game strategy.

Well, I'm approaching the point where I'm starting to consider developing it as a strategy site on all kinds of games (board games, computer games, online games etc). I aim to make this into quite an extensive site, but before I proceed would like some feedback on if it looks safe enough to proceed? A few points:

- the domain name BestMove.com is taken by a removals company BESTMOVE Inc., and my focus area will be in no way related to this
- there are some related TMs in the USPTO database, but it doesn't seem that any clash with my focus area (but again, I have zero experience interpreting the results of a USPTO search meaningfully )
- does Best Move count as a generic term?

I posted my question on another forum, but since the regulations prohibited giving a specific domain name I basically gave the above account minus any domain names and specifics on focus areas, and the only respondent told me that it was best not to proceed. Therefore, a second opinion (with much more information available this time) will be much appreciated!

From what I can tell, it seems to me like it would be a safe bet. I cant find anything that would be a conflict, and I would say it's generic. No one seems to be using it in a gaming sense.

Thanks very much for your response - rep added. I was pretty close to abandoning this domain after the first response to my question, but now am seriously considering proceeding.

One more question: provided it is safe to proceed, would you advise I try and register a TM or anything? To be honest I think the cost would be prohibitive considering the speculative nature of this project (for one thing, it will be the first proper website I'll have developed independently).

Also, any further opinions on whether BestMove.info is a safe bet from a TM perspective will be much appreciated!
