gTLDs Best week in a long time for new gTLD sales on Sedo - Bitcoin.casino sold for $28,000

Sedo released their weekly sales and it was the best week in a long time for new gtlds. The top sale overall was a new gtld, Bitcoin.casino sold for $28,000. The first .blog sales I have seen hit this week. Weed.blog sold for $7,877, Bitcoin.blog sold for $5,555 and Forex.Blog sold for $2,159.

NatureLab.com was the top .com sale at $22,000. Lab is a popular keyword and the right keywords combined with lab continue to sell for good prices.

Not sure if the names sold cause they are short name ..text speak ( 4 instead of for) ..brandable ..or (lol) the end users have a fetish for "4"..

One more possibility is that the owner of 4help bought forhelp to prevent competitors from getting it. "All4Rent" might just be a coincidence.

I do wonder... Perhaps, this signals an interest in using 4 as text speak? Does anyone have data suggesting that people use it that way more often now? Maybe, teens are using 4 as text speak more now? It would be an interesting topic to explore, considering the number domain market is rather challenging.

Sometimes its people's dreams of succeeding in the new TLD market that lead to the knee-jerk reaction to buy more .casinos. Make sure your dreams have a backup plan lol.

if you pay 37k for fashion.nyc and you are taking a lot of risk you would need to sell for at 5-10 times more to get a decent return. 180k-370k for fashion.nyc? sure.
