About every week I go to namecheap to register a new domain, and notice a new tld. Is there any way to stay ontop of the ones ICANN adds?

edit: nevermind, I see they have a notification service coming soon.

Sounds like someone's squatting portfolio is about to take a major hit. Or can you expand on why they are bad?

They can't, some are just trolling, best is to ignore them if they can't take part in a constructive discussion :)

Just ignore them, it's getting ridiculous: name.stupidandlongextensionmakesnosenseatalltome

So name.longextension makes no sense, but longprefix.name does? Go cognitive dissonance!

Not really. "Everyone" knows a .com so they'd have to remember just the name part. Of course a long .com name is not ideal but just saying.

People will be confused as hell with the new tlds...was it before the dot or after the dot? and so on

people may not be as stupid as we make out they are, consider if the next generation grows up with all this stuff it may just become second nature as they …….voice search
