I would suggest unique, relevant and keyword rich content on the site itself.

Another suggestion is header text and title optimizations along with meta tags optimization.

I am kind of lazy and don't like to work more on links. I used to work really hard making 10,000 links for each site of mine. But I have 86 sites so thought about some tricks.

I put my money on onpage SEO a bit more then the offpage one. As time passed I did saw that links have started coming themselves from bloggers and other forum posters who did wanted to mention my sites. This grows the links exponentially. Which raises the chances of getting traffic from the links and also improves serps with content links which are made naturally by others. ( I could not have mimicked them myself )

Higher serps gets more exposure which in return makes others also feel that this site has some valuable info and they also blog about or link to it from other sources ( Which I could not have found myself )

HHEHE Now that is quite a question.

Yes if we work we get money Sometimes people work just like that and that is natural linking and we earn more. It also depends on how your site is monetized though.

serp stands for "search engine result pages". when people undergo seo (search engine optimization), they are basically trying to rank higher on serps - usually for particular keyword searches and phrases.
