Best way to get more members.

i have 230 members at a College Football site i run.

what the best way of getting more members. we have been up since last year, Nov of 2005.

What marketing plans do you have in place? What about offering free season tickets to the top new member of the month? Of course you'll also need something for current members too.

yeah we are advertising in Google adwords. misread your post. we have no marketing plans and since we have fans from all over the country, it would be a little hard to give our free tickets.

You could pick some more popular markets? Or possible a free subscription to a college footbal magazine? What about putting some ads in the sports pages in cities that have a team?
