Best spot to park your domain

Hi, reg`d just recently and stumbled over this forum when I searched for RPM`s.

I`m currently parked at SEDO - but I dont really know who`s best.

What do you suggest and where do you park your domains?

sedo is one of the best - don't trust any other parking co ( as smaller they are as more likely they screw you )
beware of people contacting you changing parking co's - all scams !

Thanks, wolfis. I read somewhere her about parked.com? Are they any good - the posts about them are a bit old (2007).

I`d like to check them out, they do seem like a serious co. You have to send in almost an application and they will come back to you within 3 days or so.

parked.com was good until october last year - now it is no good anymore - like i said sedo is at the moment your best bet - i park domains from the very beginning - when parking started 9 years ago and all of them screw you over - at this time the questions is only - who is screwing you over less and sedo is at the moment ( and i am saying "in the moment" )pretty much what i use most ( but i will keep you up to date if you like - just in case things change )

I used many years ago parked, they have to pay a good income.They are not easy to apply for accounts.
BOdis, although they pay less income, but they are actually paid to your income.

You mean you rarely get any money?
If you rarely get any traffic, you won't get much money no matter where you park (or no matter what else you do with it).

Sedo screw you also, paying only for the first click and paying peanuts for each click. I think Wolfis, although expressing the extreme case, is onto something

you should try bodis. but you better try above.com which send your traffic to range of parking companies based on who pay highest per click for that particular niche $.

For sales Sedo will probably bring the most offers. For income I use to prefer yahoo feeds like Parked, TrafficZ, SmartName etc... as they allow more customization but with the yahoo/bing merger I have been dusting off my google accounts and consider 2011 a whole new ballgame. Personally I'm gonna test Sedo, Domain Sponsor and possibly NameDrive and Fabulous on the google end and compare to my yahoo feeds I have been using as I think any opinions I have from previous years of usage don't hold weight anymore so time to act like I'm brand new and get fresh results. There is no best parking company on a whole just a best company for each type of domain and traffic source.

Although I haven't used Google feeds for a long time, I have been impressed with Domain Sponsor. They provide about 25% of my revenue between, Bodis/Parked/DS/Maximizer.

there is no best, but some are better and or more consistent than others


i advise at least to "list" all your domains with sedo first, then move them around to other services later to compare

Parked were good until their changeover to bing searches by Yahoo. Since then my revenue there has tanked. Bodis has been good to me over the last 6 months or so, and replaced Parked as my favorite parking company. You should try them.

I think it depends on your domains. If your have traffic domains, you can park them at some reputed services to get a good revenue. If your domains do not have traffic or almost impossible to get natural traffic, parking can not bring you revenue. Then you'd better build the domains into minisites. There are several services in the market to help easily set up minisites. You can also try dugoohoo.com free parking and minisites service as an option.
