Best program to create .swf games/shows

Right now i have the Macromedia Flash MX trial on my computer, before i purchase the full version, i want to know if this is the absolute "best" program to create .swf games and shows (like those stickman movies, where they beat each other up :P)

By best, i dont mean the easiest, i mean the most professional (dont want one that is very easy to start with, but cant do certain things when you get more experienced)

Macromedia is defintely the best program to create flash games/movies and all sorts of things like that. I would definetly reccomend buying Macromedia Flash

If you don't know flash, you can also use swish. I have it (don't really use it though cause I know flash) but its really a GREAT program

I've been using Flash Mx and MX 2004 for over 2 years now. And i would defently say its the program to go for if you want to make games. but before making games you must know basic action script.
But whatever you choose, choose Flash Mx 2004 or Pro, there is new one coming out you may even wait for that one!

yea, i still waiting for someone to answer my 2nd question, what is actionscripting? lol

And you can make movie/show type things using flash mx? (i want to do something like xaoxao series, or the madness series, if anyone know anything about them)

Flash si the best for creating xaxao things, ActionScript is like a programming.
like stop();, getURL(); Mostly basic stuff. but if you want to create a game i bet you'll need to know good actionscript!
