I haven't been in the Domain Investing universe for at least a couple of years.
A lot of things have changed.
Wanted to talk about and ask around, what is the best way to escrow sell a domain? I have a buyer, who wants to buy via escrow. We will be splitting the fees, most likely. So the lower the fees, the better. Also, I don't want him to go through possible Escrow.com hurdles and questions.

Million years ago I used ecop.com as an escrow service for selling domain names several times - it worked very smoothly.
Then when ecop was no more, I switched to Sedo (once), Efty(Dan) and Dan. I even used Daaz.com
Never paid more than 5%
Everything was simple, user-friendly, professional and cheap.

What do you use these days?
Daaz and Dan, as far as I know, have increased their fees. I don't have an account with Efty anymore. Not sure if I want Sedo.
I hear some names, like Saw, Spaceship, DNWE, Sudos... Can they be used for this?

Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I've started looking around myself, and so far I can see that Daaz has a 9% fee (if your BIN listing there is sold), DNWE has 7%...
These are not escrow services as such but I presume I can use them for what I want. List a domain there, put the BIN price we agreed with the buyer and let him know about that so he can buy.
Anything better than this?

AtomPay.. (atom.com)
You send a purchase link to buyer and he buys. You don't even need any of his personal details

Commission is at low 4.5%

add lead on dan.com is best.

If you already have a buyer, you should use some "add lead" service, such as Custom Checkout Link at Afternic or Secure service at Daaz, both 5% commission I believe. If you sell via a normal (public) BIN listing, not only are you paying more commission, but there's always the theoretical possibility that someone else hits that buy button.

Thanks a lot!
It might be exactly what I was after. I have around 100 domains with Atom and I thought a domain must be with them for me to sell it.
Do you use, AtomPay, yourself? And if Yes, how do you do it?
I've just started reading about it, so don't know much, but what is the best way for it?
To have a one-page website, list the domain name I'm selling there, and also include the Atom Pay button?

Thanks!
I somehow thought, that after GoDaddy got Dan, "add new lead" would not be a 5% fee any more. Nice to know I was wrong.

That was very helpful!
I didn't know about both, neither Custom Checkout Link at Afternic nor Secure service at Daaz. And you're right, both of them have a 5% commission.

Thanks a lot for the above posts! All of them were very helpful.
So I have:
Escrowdomains.com
AtomPay.. (atom.com)
Add lead on Dan.com
Custom Checkout Link at Afternic
Secure service at Daaz

At first glance, I like AtomPay.. (atom.com).
The main reason, I'd prefer to get money into my Wise.com account. I know Atom allows that. Am just not sure about the other ones yet. They are probably only "PayPal" based.
Any thoughts?

Many Thanks!
