I was wondering what the experts on this forum felt the best online appraisal sources were. The "Art to Domain Appraisal" is so convoluted and biased, I wondered what you folks used to help you appraise?

i bought one expired domain through tdnam....
the final price was 1100USD and the price that the auction begun was 500usd

after i won the auction i went to appraise through godaddy....
the appraisal was 60usd :P

Yeah, I know; kinda working on that...

I recently implemented the dictionary word (ie. one-word) domain consideration to the algorithm... so um, yeah, it's kinda fresh and immature still. Gimme some time.

But seriously; compare it with SwiftAppraisal... I mean, SwiftAppraisal doesn't even help you... it basically assumes you know everything about the domain (market) and then based on how you answer the questions (w/ bias, of course), it over-evaluates your domain. Simple. ;P

Don't waste your time. Either post for help from experienced domainers or do your own research / analysis.

Best appraisal is your own. As peaches said, you should research yourself.

2nd best would be asking for appraisals from actual users with experience. Auto-Appraisals can never be accurate. Also there are new products coming out every day and Auto-Appraisals will appraisa new product name domains at RegFee.
