would someone be kind enough to comment which ones of these may best be suited for parking?
I am new to parking

I was with parkcrew for a while.. and while I don't expect to get rich form parking, when I get about 300 vistors per day and 15 clicks, and get 5 cents for it all.. I feel not right about it.

I also tried domainsponsors, there, the same profolio brought me 3 times the #visits. so already then I was not sure whats happening, and when I removed my domains form them, and moved to PC again, well, they continued to receive some traffic for couple days.. which again is.. odd.

and the last candidate, I just received approval confirmation via email for domainnamesales.. which is partly why I ask this now.

how are they for parking? do I need to park my domains there to receive the client vieews aqnd exposure that domainnamesales is so famous for? I am not quite sure how exqactly they go about showing portofolios of their clients to potential buyers.

thank you for any info.

I don't have any experience at DNS, but I'd place PC at or new the top for revenues, and DS at flat bottom, with zero customer service. I think some respected parkers here would rate DNS near the top, but I defer to them telling you themselves.

I feel the second one is the best. Parking has a lot of meanings and parkcrew will not obviously capture domain parking unless the word 'domain' is there in the url.

like I said I do not expect to get much from parking, but for say 300 visits per day at Parkcrew.. and 15 clicks.. is this normal to get 3-5 cents total out of it? just wanted to make sure.

Based on personal experience Domainnamesales is not great for parking but when you get click it is not 2 or 5 cents, however they are great in terms of generating leads for end user sales and also they have a great follow up staff. They would also never force you to bring your domain price low. They would quote the price which you want them to quote and add their commission on top of it. I like them.

thanks for tips.

let me understand this.. in order to get exposure and sales leads with them, I do or do not have to have my things parked there?

if no, then I suppose they just have their own client database to whom they show portoflios, behind closed doors.. yes?

To my knowledge, you have to park on their servers. They probably do have their own client base, but most of their sales are probably from the parked lead.

To answer your question: It depends on the quality of your traffic and the niche. Which are probably both determined by the domain name itself. Adult is usually $0.01 or less, for example.

thanks. i hear you.

well. it is odd. I had a brief chat with their csr and he said no need to park. this is why my confusion as to how they show portoflios to potential buyers, if they are not parked with them.

maybe someone else has 2nd opinions on this besides us.

i do love their site though.. this is as professional as I saw in domaining til now.

I guesss it is Frank after all.

I find that strange, I was under the impression you had to point the domain at their servers, otherwise how do they get any leads?

I'm very impressed with their sales team. I once was stupid and enquired about a domain. Sky high price and it was probably 3 months before they stopped going after me. Very professional. It's the kind of sales approach, I'd want to sell my domains. Full marks on selling.

well thats right

hence my confusion about this.

maybe their brokers do what some domainers do by email.. and simply contact their own client database.. and offer your portfolio that way... based on past sales.. preferences of their clients.. one thing they do have thaqt we do not have is plenty of leads from past sales... I guess they can work something from there.

maybe the csr did not know what he was talking about.

i'll have to double check one day.

good to hear that about them

maybe I misundertood your 1st thread post but you said you have no dns experience.

well.. maqybe I am missing something on their site, but from looks of it you cannot see which domains get what # traffic. you just get a per day total# visits+clicks.

I wish this was more detailed.

hmm.. thanks.
we're having talk with someone how they generate leads.. do you need to have portofolio parked there, or do you know if they other ways? I gave them quick call and csr said no need to park to have clients and leads.

cheers

My DNS experience is as a potential buyer. I'd rate them top notch for selling. But it was annoying to get so many emails from them. But I'd want that as a seller. They were very professional. imho. I never made any more enquiries after that, because the price of the domain was unreasonably high, imho. 10 times market value, approx.

They quote what domain owner wants to sell the domain for. Sometimes it may be higher...sometimes it may be fair market. Again in this industry, there is really no benchmark except pure one word nice dictionary name otherwise it is kind of "beauty in the eye of beholder".

I sold a domain for a price which I never thought I could fetch and I am holding a domain even today which I think will sell for much more.

What I like about DNS is they never force me to take my price down and once they find the lead they politely pursue it for a while.

I think you have to point your domains to their nameservers to generate leads.

There is something wrong here... You are getting 173 clicks with 9 searches only? This means every search user would click all the ads displayed.

thanks.
well... I am actually not sure what searches means here.. I never seen this word linked to parking.

I was thinking 70 visitors for 170 clicks.. which still is nearly impossible.

must be somke bug. though the stats for those days are final, maybe the account needs few dsays to "settle" in.

That could be a reason OR somebody is clicking on your domain names constantly. You will see in a few weeks. If somebody is clicking for fun you will get your account suspended.
