Mike Berkens bought the domain name Stock.Photo today at the NamesCon auction in Las Vegas for $16,000.

15 minutes later he had already sold the domain name together with the plural version (Stock.Photos) for$60,000 to Richard Lau.

Very clever nGTLD PR stunt to create hype among domainers as this news was too fast to come out... It would help create higher price value with the other nGTLD on auction IMO

It's like a real estate agent bidding on an auction on a house he is selling and wins the auction and then sells it to his flatmate an hour later when his flatmate was attending the same auction? Very unusual, not really in domaining it doesn't surprise me at all???
