Would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks
Thanks
IIRC only one person mentioned 7-figures.
Actually not.
There were few members(me included) who mentioned 7 figures for End user.
I'm certain that for certain company/corporation/Organization it may be worth to invest 7 figures in this domain name.
It is more than likely that the OP will have to wait a few years before receiving any 7 figures price.
If the OP wants to sell it very fast, he can contact a famous reseller who will be willing to pay low $xxx, xxx for it.
But by doing so he will leave money on the table.
This is simply not the case. This domain is worth closer to what @Archangel stated. I personally wouldn't even spend 5k on Being.com. Wellbeing.com is a much better name and is still not worth 7-figures.

The difference between "Well being" and BEING is huge. Putting the word Well in front brands it as health related mental/physical where as "Being" is open ended example.. Being a survivor, pregnant, gay, divorced etc. Single word with endless options. IMO
Sorry, that's crazy talk. Wouldn't spend $5k for being.com?
It's a great domain for the burgeoning mindfulness industry. Self help is a ten billion dollar a year business. Someone with a plan and the domain "being.com" could get publicity and funding rather easily if they knew what they were doing.
Saying you wouldn't spend $5k on a name that could probably flipped within a day for $10K doesn't make your argument more persuasive - it just makes you sound cranky.
What's fallacious? You don't think that if you somehow got hold of being.com for $5K today you couldn't quickly flip it for at least twice that to another investor?
Forget finding end users, at $5K for a domain like this just based on simple metrics (length, common english word) you're not going to lose money and you're almost certainly going to make some, even if the 'obvious end user' never comes along.
You committed ad hominem, thus it is a fallacious argument. Look it up..
Just did in order to refresh my memory. It means I would have been attacking your character instead of what you said. I did just the opposite - I specifically addressed what you said as "crazy talk". If it was an ad hominem, I would have called you crazy instead of addressing the content of your post.
I also said what you're saying makes you sound cranky, because it does. Especially when it's combined with your own thread about the need for VIP appraisal certification because public namepros appraisals are overinflated in your opinion.

We all have seen the so called brand names 5L.com domains sold for low $x,xxx. Seriously I don't understand the way of thinking of some users here. Seriously, the appraisal forum is totally pointless. This is a 5 letter keyword/word that can be used for almost anything, sorry but it is stupid to say the domain value is $5k. I'm sure the domain has type in traffic and probably makes some consistent revenue.
Clearly it worth more than $xx, xxx and if it is well advertised it can go to $xxx, xxx.
I wouldn't. I'm cautious with my money and don't spend it on domains that don't have obvious endusers. I like to make money not gamble it away. I like it for 1-3k but no more.
Just being an English word doesn't make it valuable. There are plenty of useless English words out there.

I don't see any "pro" here. Being a 5 letter word doesn't mean ti worth one million dollar, I didn't say that, From $xxx, xxx to one million dollar is a very long way. I estimate the domain between $xx,xxx to $xxx, xxx (that would be more exactly high $xx,xxx to low $xxx, xxx)This is a great place for appraisals. Sorry if you aren't happy about pros giving their 2 cents. Of course, there are non-professionals who chime in, but some appraisals you see have merit. Your "It's a 5-letter one-word .com, so it's a million-dollar domain!" belief is the one here that is illogical--not the smart ppl who sees this as being lesser.
Do you need facts? Sure: It's too broad, has no exact industry, only truly works for branding, the plural sold for peanuts (see below). WellBeing.com has its place, but being.com doesn't.

Its a hold for a big offer, don't beg people to buy (email endusers) type of domain. Obviously it wouldn't liquidate for six figures. People just guessing a wild top. Which is fine. But it takes a Rick Schwartz to get tops (can say no to big money for years) Goodluck![]()
