I was in the Snapnames.com auction for BeautyRX.com. I had really wanted this name. The bidding got up to around $300 so I thought I had better check the trademark database. Well, there was BeautyRX, live and recently registered and described as pertaining to mattresses and other sleep items. Although I had thought of this domain for items that assisted women's beauty, I thought I had better not take a chance spending hundreds of dollars on a trademarked domain. Fortunately, the other bidder than outbid me and I let him have it at $320 or so.
Was that a wise thing to do or should I have just went for it?
