Exactly, I have sworn to keep using XP until it is almost obsolete, and then consider upgrading, lol.

Yeah, im amazed by all the hype surrounding windows..

What exactly is wrong with XP..??

I was a Windows 95 man and had to smile when all the problems with 98 came about. I then upgraded to 98SE when the bugs were ironed out. Im not even gonna mention Win2000 cos that was just a joke...

Now we have Vista... Bug free.... Dont think so.

that is what you get when you use pirazy. If you want to use Vista then buy LEGAL version of it.

You should expect spyware etc. with pirated software really, who would you complain to?

You should expect spyware with Microsoft software anyway! ;)

Liability the lot of it!

I finally got my Windows Media Center working with almost no bugs and even though my laptop states vista compliant I think I'll pass.

I say the malware version is the way to go, because at least you'll know what your computer with Vista will really be like 2 months from now when your computer is going haywire. You get the experience without spending 300 bucks for it.

I've had Vista installed for about a month now without incident, still running well.

second that. I have also been using Vista for some time now and the only really problem I have had is that IE7 crashes on it very often, but that is no problem because I use FireFox mostly.

Any of you do a upgrade from XP Pro to Home Premium? I'm thinking about it. :|
For some reason I have the feeling you can't do an upgrade from XP pro, only XP home. Just what I heard. One of my mates told me he bought an upgrade and couldn't upgrade because of that, unless there's multiple upgrades for the different versions. (Which there probably is I guess lol).

Dont do it Bill..

Give MS and the hackers 6 months to sort things out and then consider it. Till then, remain with XP.....

I just got a new laptop with Vista... Vista is garbage all around. This new laptop is slower than snot trying to run Vista. Vista is just a scheme to get you to buy new products: not just an OS, but also more RAM, new anti-virus, new Office, etc. If I could go back to XP, I would.
