Basic Question About TDNam Sales

Hi,

If I buy a domain at TDNam (GD's aftermarket) will the post-sale records show an 'aged domain' (3 years for example), or will the WHOIS 'registered since ___' start over with the current purchase (since it was in the process of expiring)?

Thank you

It will show an aged domain.

When you win a domain in TDNam and let say it was created in Year 1999 the whois record will show 1999 after you acquired it.

I second Xman's answer.

TDNAM expired domain names are that coming from the registrars (GoDaddy, WildWestDomains, and BlueRazor) - they will retain their age because they are not captured by backorders, they are auctioned off before they expire, not after.
