Hi;

I need a banner and logo designed for a new community web site.

This is a old fishing village with a harbour, but is now a popular tourist spot during the summer.

I am open to other ideas, but my thoughts are that the banner could include a faded collage, maybe comprising of the harbour , sea, segulls, and that rather than having a horizontal straight-line box-like background, that maybe the bottom be made 'wavy' so it kind of looks like waves lapping on the beach - but it might look silly?!

The collage should also include some IT images, such as servers, or the typical imges you see in the banners of IT / hosting companies as this really primarily is a hosting site.

For the logo, I would like to somehow incorporate the outline of the coast, as in my poor attempt at a logo here.

Let me know if there's any info you need, 125NP$ each, I will let it run for 48 hours and see if there's any offers.

Thanx

PeterC

Hi Abdul, I do like the "your hosting harbour" tag line, and the 'snipped' harbour bridge image, but the wording and the pic of the server look a bit out of place when compared with the harbour picture, they don't really fit. PeterC

So, what do you suggest I do? Any preferred font, colors, etc? I will look for another server image :)

Actually I was really looking for more of a collage of images, rather than just the one image faded on the reight hand side, but to be honest if I knew what to do I would create it myself, I have the computer skills but not the artistic skills.

As I mentioned, I thought that a banner with the bottom edge looking like waves lapping on the shore might be a bit creative, but I really don't know what I want until I see it !!!

the size that i've used for the banner is the standard banner which is quite small and if you fit a collage of images AND put the text, it will be kindof crammed. I tried to make it simplistic but I will try making it as you say... with waves n all :)

Hi again, I was thinking of something similar (but not the same as) the one for example on namedrive, i.e. www.hotbrick.co.uk

I guess I am using the wrong term, by Banner, I mean the image displayed at the top of the page holding the company logo etc, I now realize that by banner you probably understood it to be an advertising banner.

The size of the image would be 750 x 80, sorrie I should have made that clear :(
