Banned or not

Hi!

Here's the story:
I have a website on which I had put some adsense ads... About 4 months ago I did a stupid thing... I didn't read the TOS carefully and I got some traffic from an autosurf traffic exchange website :| (quiethits.com).
After a week the ads were not appearing on my site and I got an e-mail from adsense and they told me that my account was closed because I used autosurf traffic :(
Now I want to ask you guys: what do you think did they ban my website?
I used the tool from iwebtool.com to determine if my website is banned or not and it says that it isn't banned :)

I signed up a new account with a different e-mail address today :)
So, fingers crossed :D

Did anyone experience this?

Thanks:)

Adsense will find out it's you very, very easily. You got banned from Adsense, not the Google Index, which I assume is what you were searching for on iWebTool. Once you get banned from Adsense, you are gone for life. People try to find ways around the ban, but they will eventually get banned again due to Adsense finding out it is you.

You can try to appeal, but I am not sure it will help. Better to try anyways.

If they know you had 1 banned account, you will get banned again. It is not very difficult for them to know you used to get banned. So, don't be so happy now. lol

If you want to be sure, just email them and tell them the story => and if they agree to release your banned account, that means you can play with adsense again. If they say NONE, don't waste your time since you can not get paid and will get banned again.

One of thing in TOS is that you can not have more than 1 google adsense account, if I am not mistaken.

Another way to do: Use your spouse's name to register a new account. it might work.

You broke TOS already without even placing ads on your website. Sad.

It's against TOS to have two accounts. You can only try to hide for so long!

Goodluck anyways.

Thats right .. your account will be supsended so soon , your website is banned so noway to benefit from adsense again , even after they might send your first check (i doubt that your account still not suspended by this time).

Anybody know what's the score with Linkreferral.com - does anyone here use it ? Does Adsense/Gogole have any objections to it ?

I used the autosurf thing from quiethits.com, too, and I just got a warning email from Google. I removed my domain from quiethits, and I was fine from there.

You could probably have made an appeal that you would stop instead of making a second account.

I dabbled with Stormhits, but after that, they gave me a warning letter and I promptly replied. Nothing went wrong.

The best thing is email them and try to get your old account back. otherwise u have to use new address , name , contact details , email and also new set of sites still you cant be sure they wouldn't find out.

Thanks a lot for the advice guys! :)
I emailed them and I told them the whole story. Today, I got a response:
After thoroughly reviewing the activity on both accounts, we've decided to
allow the account under [email protected] to remain open.

In the future, we recommend that you proceed with extreme caution when
driving traffic to your pages containing Google ads to ensure that you do
not violate our program policies or Terms and Conditions. Please note that
