Bad links

Hi,

If someone is selling links from high traffic pages, yet those high traffic pages are banned by google ( if that is possible ), will a link from such a page affect my PR?

don't think so...
I think this "bad link" has zero value for you. because if it had negative PR value, it is a key to destroy competing business
I also think if pages are banned, it means they are not indexed and crawled by bot ... so the crawler does not see the link ... bcoz why they should crawle banned site? It doesn't make sense..

Gil, I think geronimo asks as a buyer, not as a seller ... so I think link from banned page can not have negative PR value ... and if it is really high traffic site without PR value, there is still big value - real users.
