I know of Pool.com, and Club drop, but is there a better... cheaper backordering service? Which one is the best, and what is the ups and downs to each one?

What is the 'overture' of a domain?

If backordering services dont pick up domain names, when is the soonest you can register it independantly? is it around 11:00am? When exactly?

I think Namewinner is the best at grabbing the dropped names. Their "system" isn't the best, but they do get the job done. Stay away from GoDaddy- they can't even catch their own drops.

What is the 'overture' of a domain?

Overture refers to how many times a keyword was searched per month. The Overture Selector Tool lets you type in keywords with or without an extension, and it will let you know if the keyword is popular or not. Overture is a helpful tool but you can't rely completely on it. If you have any more questions, ask away.
