Backordering a domain owned by buydomains

I was wondering if anyone on namepros has had success with backordering a domain which was previously registered with Buydomains.com? I'm after a domain that they own but as usual with them it's priced astronomically high. I know they have a lot of domains but do you know of any of them to have dropped?

Do you know if it is actually owned by BuyDomains? They broker a lot of domains, so just because it is listed on their site doesn't necessarily mean that they own it. I caught a domain with my drop catching software for reg fee that was listed on their site for $1.5k, but that was a brokered domain. If the company itself owns it, I wouldn't hold my breath that they'll let it drop.

BuyDomains does (on rare occasion) let even some of their better domains drop. I acquired my VeggieFood(dot)com this way.

But I wouldn't bank on it.

Yeah I checked the whois on the domain and It showed up as buydomains
(Namemedia).
