The names get passed from the register to the auction house - Netsol names go to NameJet first - GoDaddy names got to TDNam first etc
For instance - Snapnames will only win a netsol name if nobody has placed a backorder for it on NameJet.
There are a few acceptions to this.

stub said:If it's regged at GoDaddy, it's almost 100% certain to be auctioned off at TDNAM if it's not renewed. I'd just wait for it to appear on TDNAM and outbid the person who already has the backorder on it.
