I would definitely say to put your link into Do Follow directories, or comment on Do Follow blogs/forums. If this isn't really your thing you can always hire someone to do it for you. You could also go around and ask different site owners if they would be willing to put your link in their website in exchange for something. Good luck with your link building.

Submit your site to directories like Yahoo Dir etc.

Press releases and Article submission will also help.

Search for List Of Directories and such KWs in Google and see what lists show up high in SERPs. Open these pages and contact the webmaster to request them to add your directory in their list too.
