domain Backlinks

Just purchased a domain name that has 34 backlinks. Used to be a functional site in 2006 but has been dormant for awhile... the links are still good.

Does this add alot of value to the name? How much?

Not sure how to check "exact" traffic... Estibot reports "some" traffic, and an ALEXA rank of around 11.5 million.
