I used it for my design business when I was a full time illustrator.
The site is dormant at this time.

Have contest on every sunday with some topic and give the winner scores.
The highest scores artist will qualified to be a part of the biggest project in the period you set(3, 6 or 12 months) or to be a part of your team and get job(prize are both of proudly and money).

this idea is based on that you are the best one artist or you have good connection with some best artists.

I like the devientart model.
I have kicked around a few development ideas for some time.
Online Art Supplies, Just sell Sketchpads, Gallery, Art lessons in VOD.
Maybe it could be all the above.
Got to do something with it.
