I've noticed there's barely any visitors from NamePros on my site DomainBeta.com - a resource for domainers wanting to reg available names. Of course, I'm not saying that the names are all good, but if you don't like the names listed, they may still give you some ideas for your own names, in case you're suffering from domainer's block :) I look at the lists myself from time to time to get my thought process going.

I'd like to thank those of you who have regged names from my lists for having e-mailed me a thank-you note!

Nice list, I would just group them by extension. I usually look for strictly .com and find it hard to scan a list to find something I like but also scan to see if it is a .com

Thanks, that's a really good suggestion. I'll do that from now on!

Pretty good site, thanks for the suggestions. I saw a few that had decent development potential. I'll keep an eye on it in the future. :)

Agreed. My focus is on .com but the other TLDs are nice too B-)

You have a lot of nice names listed there - thanks

Hey Josh. I've checked out your site before. You are one of the most
self-less domainers I've seen on the boards. Always willing to share
openly with fellow NP'ers. Im sure we all get domaining blocks at times, and
a site like yours is a good way to remedy that. I encourage more NamePro members to share and take less. It makes for a less stagnant experience.
Btw, my latest freebie to register....NudeBottom.com

Thanks so much for the kind words everyone, and thanks sdsinc for the unexpected NP$100! My first NP$ :)

I'm glad you find my site useful - I research a lot of names, and I can't afford to reg them all and would hate to have them go to waste.

NudeBottom.com - nice grab!

I'm just posting on the days that I'm researching domains - on the other days, nothing to post, right? A month from now? Well, it's like baked potatoes - worth putting in the oven even if you're not hungry, because by the time they're done - who knows?

I updated the list today with some nice travel-related domains!

Josh,

Nice work and great site. Let me share something with you that I have learned after nearly one year of sharing available domain lists with other domainers.

Generally speaking, your list readers will not help you promote your service. They'll thank you, send you generous donations and suggest a variety of interesting business proposals, but they will not help spread the word about your service.

Why should they? If you found a great resource that gave you a leg up on the competition, you would be best served to keep it a secret. (Niceguy - Tarry G is an exceptional exception to this rule, along with a few others)

My advice is to use your list as a means to develop business relationships and goodwill with other domainers. You'll be paid back in a variety of ways, including financially, and you'll get to know many outstanding people.

PS - I sent you a PM with a suggestion.

-Bill

Thanks for the ideas and the encouragement, Bill - much appreciated. My only commercial goal with DomainBeta.com at this point is to get enough traffic and ad income to pay for renewal of DomainBeta.com itself :). I just wanted to give back to the NamePros community by setting up that site, hoping to generate goodwill and make new personal connections.

But I'll definitely think about what you said.
