AutoRenewalPeriod

Hello guys,

I am currently stalking a .co domain that I am interested in for branding purposes. I read a lot of informations about the AutoRenewalPeriod but couldnt find a definitive answer.

So basically the status in the whois is the following:
Domain Status: expired
Domain Status: autoRenewPeriod

So does this means:
1. That the domain is extented by the registrar for a period of time for the owner not to lose it ?
2. That the domain is currently being autorenewed but this is a period in which the owner can still cancel the autorenew?

Followup question, how many days will it takes for this period to be over? I read accross the internet that it depends on the regitrar but most often is 45 days, is that so ?

Depends on registrar, it can be even 0 days.
Max. duration - 45 days.

This period is applied automatically by the corresponding REGISTRY.
And going until certain registrar submits DELETE command to the registry.
