Last night I ignored the urge to register SpaceShipThree.com , and today the .com .net .org and .whatnot is all taken.

Today I decided to redeem myself and find another good dn investment. After a bit of investigation I discovered the huge potential of Augmented Reality: Google Trends: augmented reality . The estimated AR market size in 2014 is $732,000,000 , especially in AR marketing.

I think adverts and billboards shown as augmented reality on mobiles will become simply huge, and so I decided to get a piece of the pie, all new .com registrations:

This is the first time I've personally seen a reputable person say that it's going to be in the trillions. I've seen at most hundreds of billions. I think he could be right and the thought has definitely crossed my mind, given the amount of impact AR will have. But we're talking 10 years. I moved to Finland in 2010 and it's already 2018....That time blew by so fast that it felt like 4 years to be honest. Not just from moving to a new country but also having kids and getting a divorce haha...it's a lot to stuff in 8 years so it kept me busy.

My point is that the time between and say 7 - 10 years from now when AR is everywhere could go by super fast if you are living a busy, productive fun life. Many of us will see great returns before then, but the largest returns may come to those who hold out on selling their names until AR is nearly at it's prime.

In the beginning of this thread people were posting that they think AR would explode in 2014. It's 4 years later and we are now saying 2025ish. So these time estimates can change too....
