Last night I ignored the urge to register SpaceShipThree.com , and today the .com .net .org and .whatnot is all taken.

Today I decided to redeem myself and find another good dn investment. After a bit of investigation I discovered the huge potential of Augmented Reality: Google Trends: augmented reality . The estimated AR market size in 2014 is $732,000,000 , especially in AR marketing.

I think adverts and billboards shown as augmented reality on mobiles will become simply huge, and so I decided to get a piece of the pie, all new .com registrations:

ar+
advert
adverts
billboard
billboards
registrar

There are still a lot of possibilities available, so I thought I'd share this so you can also get a piece of the action :santa:

I am having a difficult time trying to imagine AR's place in the gambling and casino industry to be honest.

Also because you can only have reality as the back ground of AR, that kind of makes it limited. I wouldn't go too crazy with AR + Keyword domains unless it really make sense specifically to AR.

Across many of the tech threads I am seeing mis-matches, how will it work? Who will buy it? are just some of the questions that need to be asked when regging names you may need to hold for a number of years

Another question is, am i prepared to hold it for a few years?

Quote: "MR combines digitally-rendered, interactive objects with the real environment. But unlike AR, which involves layering objects and information on top of the existing world, MR incorporates believable, virtual objects with reality. These virtual objects can be treated just like their real-world counterparts."

Based on that quote from the above article, "MR" differs from AR only in the way that it is used, not the actual technology, which is why the average joe consumer will never be able to tell the difference. Because the world is already familiar with AR and because AR has been launched into the public eye with Pokemon Go, etc, it's very likely that AR will supersede MR as a consumer terminology, while MR will still be used as an industry term amongst inside professionals.

'Based on that quote from the above article, "MR" differs from AR only in the way that it is used, not the actual technology '-thats not what they are saying, but your perception.
Thats whats exciting about domaining, each with his thoughts :)

Good luck to us all!

I forgot to mention that many professionals would argue that that article is dead wrong as well. Not even the pros agree on the differences, while some even completely deny there is a difference at all. If MR only means that it's more "realistic" utilization of the same or similar technology, then it's no wonder there's a lot of confusion. It's also worth noting that based on the article above, MR contains elements of AR and differentiating where AR starts becoming MR-like is going to be a challenge. I'm not interested in talking about MR anymore to be honest, because it's simply an irrelevant term as of now, even if Microsoft is using it. It's just not a relevant terminology at this point in time, especially in this thread.
