Hey Folks,

I've just started using squadhelp.com to list some of my brandable. So far I have 76 domains listed, there is no fee to list. I've had some decent action so far in the way of interested buyers but no sales as of yet. I've only been with them for 1 week now.

A bit of a summary review of SquadHelp:

PROS

• No Listing fee
• No Logo design fee
• Ability to submit your names to end users holding naming contests
• Ability to chat directly or send a message directly to end users.
• Stats of your marketplace domains are shown in the marketplace dashboard.
• Their customer service and support has been great, 24hr a day chat.
• Ability to increase or decrease the list price of your domains or to show a discount. You can decrease or increase the price yourself by $200. If you want to lower more, you can contact support.
• End users can shortlist your domains before they make a decision on which they want to purchase. The number of shortlists is shown in you marketplace dashboard.
• When you submit your names you get to set the price you wish to get. Because their commissions are high I recommend listing at a higher price to offset the commission costs.
• Their landing pages are fairly basic but they work. Because the marketplace is fairly new, I'm sure we will see style improvements in the future.
• One thing I really like is they accept multiple extensions. I have listed .co and .io along with .com
• Each seller gets a direct link to their marketplace portfolio, HERES MY PORTFOLIO. It is handy if your trying to p[promote your portfolio through social media.
• I like that their marketplace doesn't have tens of thousands domain listings like BB. They are fairly strict on the domains they accept to list and so this helps keep the number of domains in the marketplace down and gets your listings more exposure.

CONS

• Their commissions are very high, depending on the domain name they are usually between 30% and 35%. However, there are no listing fees, no logo design fees, so in the end their commission is very similar to brand buckets.
• Their logos are not top quality, in fact I requested to have some of my logos remade.
• I think they have a big backlog of logos to design, the wait time for logo design has been around 1 week, but your names are still listed while the logos are being designed.
• After your names are accepted you need to agree to their commission rate, at this point you also need to apply your own keywords, descriptions etc. I found this was very time consuming.

Yes, they seem to be back now. It was odd to remove them.

Atom does that all the time - they disable a function to test another, as it requires the first function to be updated.

The big problem with Atom is that the site always seems to be under development.

Has anyone noticed the hearts / saves count on the domain page being reset? I happened to look at a couple of my domains that I'm almost positive had a heart count. But it's gone now. It's only some domains, not all of them.

I listed some of my domain names on your "Public Events" auctions.

Then, before the auctions started, I had to remove two of them (non-Premium) because I was engaged in talks with potential buyers. I used the "Remove" button provided next to the listings on my Auctions dashboard.

Since then, two things have happened:

- The above referred domain names appear in your Auction pages, both showing this notice:

Auction cancelled
This auction was withdrawn before it closed

That is not entirely accurate; IMHO, this should read "before it STARTED" (or only say auction cancelled, without further details, perhaps?).

Why the distinction matters? Trust.

- Also, I received an automated email notice about one of those removed listings, informing the auction was closing soon and there was no bids. This is not too important, but still shows a little misalignment of your systems.

Honest feedback, wishing it helps.

I find some of the auction rules very peculiar.

The big problem with Atom is that the site always seems to be under development.

This is particularly frustrating for someone like me. Domains are not my primary occupation. Since like 2002, they have been my side hustle. As such, I'm not on Atom (or any other marketplace) every single day. Unless I get a notice, I only check in about once a week.

But with Atom, it seems like every time I check my listings (about 100 domains), I have to relearn a whole new interface! And something I might have seen and found useful last week, is either gone this week or buried deep inside some new drop-down or button. Or I can't figure out how to do some mundane task because they moved it again.

I have had a couple sales on Atom, but honestly, in my case, for all the hype, it has not out-performed any other marketplace. I have actually been slowly migrating some names away because its just too annoying.

I have noticed that the formatting and content is off on some domain landers.

It seems that if the "Verified Domain" section shows up, the lander loads correctly.

But if the "Verified Domain" section is missing, the lander formatting is off, with the Heart icon shunted below the domain name, and various sections are missing, such as Description and the 2+ Visitors notation below the domain name.

No idea what's going on, but it's not a good look.

There is definitely some crazy crap going on behind the scenes, as each reload seems to add or subtract something from the lander.

For example, the 2+ Buyers Viewed section pops in and out, but there is no way I can get the Description to load and it looks like the Verified Domain section is now permanently gone.
