ASUS laptop

hi

one of my relatives has bought an ASUS laptop for me.. i do not knw the specifications yet..budget was in the economy range. so i do not think that it will be Core 2 duo or anything. just a normal processor.. i know that it has 512mb ram+ 80gb harddisk ..

please tell me how are ASUS laptops in general??

any known issues with them?? any great features which ASUS is known for?

thanks a lot for these soothing words.. in my country ASUS is only known for its graphics cards and all. not at all for laptops so i was kind of scared how the reputation might turn out to be

I have never had an Asus laptop but have Asus motherboards in many of my machines and they definitely get a thumbs up from me

Hey guys. How is sony vaio laptops compare to asus. I'm thinking about buying a vaio laptop but I'm still looking around. Oh yeah, I heard some really nice things about asus as well.
