Dear Masters,

How are you all?

Hope you are doing well.

Fellas! I am interested to host some websites. After a good research i have found Blue Host the right place to host my websites in budget.

I need opinions of all Kings & Queens of Web.

Thanks in advance for your opinions and help regarding it.

Thanks & Regards,

they oversell a lot, but as long as you don't need anywhere near how much they offer, then you should be okay.

All web host oversell, most of the users wont even use that much space or bandwidth. Most of the users think they are getting a good deal, and its human nature to always think more is better.

As long as the hosting company is doing a good job managing the server, there shouldnt be any problems overselling. READ the hosting company TOS before you make a purchase, cause most of the time if your SITE uses a lot of resources it may require a upgrade or suspension.

Not all web hosts oversell.

I myself HATE overselling therefor I don't oversell. Look around at some web hosts and you would find that there are some few web hosts that are not overselling.

Those web hosts are generally faster servers. Big web hosting companies such as host gator limit to how much cpu process you can use things like that are a factor.

Hope this helps :)

for starters you might host with them but when your needs grow, you need to move it to another.

Bluehost is the large company and large companies oversell more than whoever. I Would rather choose something of middle size, the more so because you need shared hosting.

For recommendation I can name the webhostgiant.com which has large, but cheap hosting plans which could be used for any purpose of hosting and/or reselling.

If you have small sizes and small needs on the first time you can ignore overselling issues at all.

Taking the advantage of the opportunity I can name simplehelix.com - to my mind, it is one of the best companies for delivering e-commerce web hosting; ahosting.biz - it is flexible company which will offer you the configuration you need and will provide you with good services; hostgator - its services are widely represented in the web hosting market. So, I think that you can undoubtedly rely on these companies.

Bluehost is not recommended. This host is too large for single clients, being overseller.

I suppose you need sometyhing of middle size, like webhostingbuzz.com -which offers the same, but for reasonable price without overselling. I think you would be interested in the offers, so I advise you to look them up.

Have no experience with the company you mentioned, but I strongly believe that webintellects.com, microvps.com and hostmonster.com will suit you down to the ground at affordable prices. So, choose the company which is the best for you personally.

Hostmonster IS Bluehost. Bluehost operate under a few different names.

Bluehost have quite a bad rep spread across multiple forums that i join, and i think it is quite deserving. A friend of mine once had a Bluehost account, and the server load was through the roof. Might have been unlucky, but i would still avoid them anyway.

True. You will not see any discomfort with overselling unless your site is not very big.

However, any site, which is properly developped will require more resources someday. And this very day you might need to upgrade or move to another host. So it is better to avoid oversellers anyway, this will save some time and health for you.

Instead of bluehost aka hostmonster, I recommend you to look up some smaller and more reliable service, like MMhosting.com for instance... They have excellent uptime stats, and provide enough room for further development. I believe such companies are much better partners.
