hello, all-
as anybody who's seen my threads in "appraisals" knows, i'm new to this biz and this site.
with that said, i would like to take this opportunity to apologize to the community as a whole for jumping in with a rough start. not enough attention was given to the rules, and too much priority was given to my excitement about the hunt for a good name. i read about the number$ before i read about what was considered acceptable behavior, and my actions reflected that mistake.
in short, i didn't come here to spam, scam, or improperly bump.
just a guy who's happy about potentially finding another gig after 20+ years of working with marble and granite (ouch).
now that all of that is out of the way.......
as i said, i'm new to this stuff.
i bought my first few domain names because i wanted those names.
some friends and i are putting together an internet based biz (e-cigs), so i got the names for that. then i started typing in what i thought were "cool" names, and buying those (ie: frigidbitch . com, devil-woman.com, etc)....not so much thinking about resale, but i just wanted those names to be mine.
further investigation led me to understand that this can be a viable business, as long as i stay away from things like "bananasucker . com", and look for things i would have blown off as
"bland", such as shoes . com, aaa . com. i also understand that i'd better come up with unbelievably fantastic names, have deep pockets, or learn some developing in order to make a go of it.
time to start reading.......
anyway, that's me in a nutshell.
a total newbie with too much enthusiasm, and now, too many poop-tastic domains.
i hope to remedy that asap.......
again, i apologize if i came off as a spammer or imbecile.
definitely not the former, and i'm working on the latter..........

all the best-
michael
