I'm not just stating the obvious here. Read my thought process. The pros are going to get it my explanation.
Let me qualify a short answer with, this is tough work. My hat goes off to the real pros. like any business, there is NEVER something for nothing.
#1: Price it to sell.
That is total common sense and obvious and there are MANY MANY MANY more sub rules like knowing you audience, the names market, platform your selling on, and many many many many more.
But follow me here and remember, I'm weeks new to this. but when I do something, I do it! And so far I've done it wrong, every time. This is how I learn.
My freudian analysis:
The hardest things for me to do is genuinely price and post my first one with full intent it will sale -and have yet too. It takes a lot of work and research.
But above all, it's honestly puling the trigger knowing someone is going to die.
There is a humility and honestly with yourself you have to have in a way i've only experienced in the music industry. Laugh. But there are strong parallels I can explain if I wanted to. You can't be greedy, you must be honest, and kill your ego.
As a newbie, what was your toughest obstacle, and may still be?
So let's see if i can follow my own rules and sell these domains.
I'll be listing about 200 fixed price with honest prices very soon.
Cheers,
mike
Q. If you are willing to share it, and you are a professional at this, in one sentence, what is your best advice to a new comer?
