discuss Are geo domains useful for Adwords?

I read some of the old posts on Geo domains and read that geo domain can be used for Adwords.

I'm wondering whether it is possible to use geo domains/ exact match domains for Google Ads on Adwords?

And I'm also wondering about ways to convince end users to buy geo-domains; please help with your answers; your guide is greatly appreciated.
