

Sure, they can be registered now days, however, if you are going to use it as domain portfolio to resell domains or make it obvious the domain you registered was just for the purpose of reselling it, you may want to rethink it. here's a little information I dug up on it in Jun 2025: https://www.namepros.com/threads/ad-andorra-cctld-country-code-top-level-domain.1354955/I remember when .ad was first released, it was not allowed to be sold. Are they available for sale now?

Exactly! At any time, if the registry does a random audit of registrants, a domain can be reclaimed/seized and the registrant loses registration, renewal and/or acquisition costs/investment with no refunds (If found to be a domain reseller case).Apparently they can be (re)sold...
