Are All One Word Domain Hacks Worth Money & Easily Resold?

I've picked up here that a domain hack is when the prefix of a domain with its domain extension constitutes a word.

My question is, are they all automatically worth over $500 each and easily resellable, especially if the prefix is not a dictionary word?

Here's an example pf a hack domain name that is registered::

advis.es

Is this a waste of registration money or should a hack like this easily get you offers over $500? How do you value it- based on the word
"advises" or the word advises minus a nonword?

How exactly does one sell this on say SEDO if the prefix is not a word?

Please advise on this. Thanks

I think domain hacks are just like any other domain/keyword. Some are better than others. Hacks don't work very well on social media because you have no effective way of using the DOT.

Hand-regged domains are rarely "easily sellable" and even the better expiring names still generally wouldn't be classified as easy to sell. A sale still requires someone who is looking to buy a domain in that niche, finds that name amongst the hundreds available for sale with similar keywords and views that name as the best alternative within their budget. Alternatively you can do outbound marketing but then you have to work to contact those buyers (95% won't be interested regardless of price) and don't forget that time spent marketing has a value.

It Depends...

When the dot cuts in the middle of the word, it just looks weird and doesn't quite work for me. I would also think that the search engines would not be kind to split words.

But I like names like

Bourbon.St

(Not mine, but I think it's owned by someone on Namepros.)

In this case, the dot is natural and organic and keeps both sides whole.

I agree with Ms Domainer

It has to make sense

Name like these just dont sell and when they do, its not for a big xx

Plan.es
Tobac.co
Bitco.in
Dis.co
Fellat.io ()

Names like this with an obvious commercial use are nice and can sell for very nice $$

You have some decent TV domains that (imho) would be worth more money if you developed!
