I almost forgot ... my apologies ... also, please list the specific End users to whom you've sold your auctioned ".TV's", as well! :gl:

Jeff, You're a salmon!

Enjoy the swim, but watch out for the end result!

Good Luck! IMHO

I already know the end result ... the vast majority of ".TV" domains are NOT going to sell in light of HYPED expectations and, sadly, many folks here are going to be left holding the bag, IMHO. :guilty:

Look forward to seeing all recent auction results here! :gl:
Take care,
Jeff B-)

:'( ecj© pines for the 20 century yet again, appearing this time in the form of Nostradamus...

and whatever results I may or may not get will not be put on your thread. Nothing personal, but you are by all appearences and definition, a ne'er-do-well for the .tv extension and forum, contributing nothing and expecting accolades from your peers, who even by now must be questioning your rationale for your dislike of the members having a good time here.

But hey, it's all good, as ecj© you are performing your duties as required. so get down on it and have fun...we are! B-)

Jeff,

I spent $66.....if you are right, then I am out $66...well actually not because timeshare.tv is at $70 (2 bidders) so $70-$50=$20 so therefore $66-$20=$44.

I will take a $44 loss if the .tv extension is a complete failure...

$44 is not a bad investment for Tech.tv and Debt.tv. I know I will make a profit from these names, and that is what being a domainer is all about isn't Jeff? I don't care about the future prospects for .tv or if end users buy them and develop them, I am about selling the few I have and making money on them. I will continue to renew them yearly for $44, no skin off my back until I find the right buyer.

You are right, some people went 'all in' and that is a risk but isn't life about taking risks and hoping they pay off. The stock market is a risk but people buy and sell stocks everyday for little unknown company's. Some pay off in the end and some don't. That's life, you don't need to bash people all day long because they decided to take a risk that you may think is too risky...get over it and let us worry about us.

Enjoy

Eric:blink:

If they went "all in" (and I believe, in some cases, that is true) ... it was due, in part, to all of the calculated chatter and HYPE here on the forum, IMHO.

That's life, you don't need to bash people all day long because they decided to take a risk that you may think is too risky...get over it and let us worry about us.

Thanks much for your perspective, Eric ... but for clarification, I only bashed ... if that term is even appropriate in this context ... the ".TV" itself, and people being Verisign, Enom, Sedo, and the various Registrars (ie., those guaranteed to make money from domainers in this situation)! :yell: :imho:

... and go enjoy that sunny holiday!

Will do, have fun and Good Luck with the auctions! :gl:

Best,
Jeff B-)
