Hello All, cool forum, Glad I joined you all today.

I own a lot of domains. I just can’t seem to help myself. Over the years I have done a lot of business development and seem to pick up a few domains with each new project. I know the business ideas behind each domain and why it seemed like a good idea at the time.

My question to the expert panel is - do any of my domains have a resell value as is, undeveloped?

These were bought for search terms:
directmailroom.com
probydesign.com
quicklookbook.com
generalinternetmarketing.com

I used this for a server address for a time:
t2ad.com

These went with business concepts I was working on at the time.
vinylcat.com
jethill.com
gigglepro.com
saltup.com

A website built for a legal nurse consultant but was never worked:
lncaccess.com

Welcome to NamePros, vhasara!

I can see why these domains didn't get used.
If these were mine, I would list them on eBay.
Any that dont sell, just let them drop.

One of my clients recently chose a brand name along the lines of JetHill.com for his new business. Yours is short and catchy; so I can imagine someone using it for a startup. That said, they'd have to think of it or find it, then fall in love with it, and then want to pay extra to use it. Such things are more unlikely than likely. Nevertheless, JetHill.com is probably the best of the names in your list.

Some of the others aren't necessarily bad, but they're unlikely enough to attract significant purchase offers that I'd probably let them go.

DirectMailRoom.com is clever because it combines 2 real phrases. It also has some commercial applications. Maybe worth keeping for resale -- but definitely borderline. Could be a good brand name if used.

VinylCat.com -- Nice name for a vinyl LP site. That's a commercially viable niche. So this one might sell.

GigglePro.com -- difficult to pair with a buyer who has a budget. Comedians don't.

SaltUp.com -- It's conceivable that someone could want this for gourmet salts or for Salt Lake City.

ProByDesign.com -- maybe for a pro web designer. But what are the odds they'll think of it, find it, and pay you enough for it any time soon?

The others I don't think are very good as brand names. GeneralInternetMarketing.com is too general and too long to be appealing.

Depending on your willingness to pay renewal fees without recouping the cost, you might keep a few of these. One might even sell eventually. But if you dropped them all, you wouldn't be wrong either.

Thank you Iconic and Image Authors.

I have been busy collecting not selling, I din't know that you could post a domain on eBay. Also interesting that Image Author found JetHill to be the best on the list. out of all the names it is the one I would keep. My husband is a retired AF pilot and my maiden name is Hill. That's how they got put together. Also photographers will often give a name to the closest hill at the end of a runway where they go take their photos of takeoffs and landings. We lived off of Jet Hill at one time.

SaltUp is because I have a son that surfs

But... I guess we all thought we had good reasons for buying at one time or another. Without development it is just another expense.

Thanks again.

The story behind JetHill.com and the personal connections with both words really enhance the name. It does conjure up the idea of a scenic overlook, which may be an idea worth branding around, since it taps into the emotions. The main difficulty is getting the right startup venture or website to spontaneously think of the same name or else find it.

I like SaltUp.com more now that I can connect it with surfing and the ocean. That's an angle I'd missed. In terms of sale likelihood, the same issue exists as with JetHill.com and most such brandable
domains. But it would make a very cool domain for something ocean-related such as surfing or a marina.
