I've been sitting on two domains that I meant to use for awhile, but just haven't had the time. The main domain is optintowin.com and the secondary domain is opt-intowin.com that would redirect to the main site.
My original thought behind these domains was to create an app that would allows users to opt-in to an email or text messaging list with a chance to win prizes during random draws.
This would have been the general flow of things:
1. Local business signs up with Opt-in To Win to manage their distribution lists for customers who opt-in to hear from them. Part of the deal is the business needs to put up a certain prize for regular draws for their customers.
2. When a customer opts in through the local business list they are also asked if they want to opt-in to other lists based on their profile (each comes with the chance of winning prizes).
3. The customers have a chance to win regular prizes for each list they are on, and all that can be managed from the app.
4. There are global, larger prizes for everyone is who part of any opt-in to win list.
The benefit for customers is that for every list they are on they can win prizes. They also have a central app to manage their subscriptions to a number of lists/businesses.
The benefit for businesses is that they have customers who are going to be more engaged (checking the emails to see if they won) and less likely to unsubscribe. The prizes they offer should be something they sell or a service they give, so there is little investment that way.
My likely buyer would be someone with the time/money to build this app or a marketing company who could use the site to help clients build their existing contact lists.
