.tv Apology to Jimbo

I wish to sincerely, and somewhat humbly, apologise to Jimbo.

A short time ago I jumped on him in a thread relating to buying a geo, and I was completely on the wrong track and out of order. There was no excuse for my behaviour.

I mistakenly interpreted an earlier thread to mean that Jimbo was the developer of a site called bathtv.tv, which he isn't. I reacted because bath.tv was for sale in this forum for about 12 months or so until I purchased it from Richard. I reacted because the person who developed bathtv.tv would have had ample opportunity to buy bath.tv, yet that individual put a lot of time and effort into developing bathtv.tv. I saw that as fragmenting the TV brand and creating confusion among Internet users - at a time when dot TV is struggling - and I reacted to that situation, mistakenly thinking it was Jimbo.

As I said, I've since learned that Jimbo has nothing to do with bathtv.tv and again I offer my sincere apologies. It was wrong of me to react in that way and I do regret it.

Thanks for the PM. There was no need for a public apology, but that just shows what a good guy you actually are.

As I mentioned in the follow-on PM your apology is gracefully accepted. I can understand why you were so irritated...

Seriously - no probs, having dealt with Snoop I am fairly thick-skinned anyway!

I don't want to rake it up again but i was & still am unsure why you got annoyed about bathtv.tv, even if that was Jimbo's development i dont see what was done wrong by developing a tv.tv

Bathtv.tv looks really good, their intro videos is brilliant.

Do you have development plans for Bath.tv Rodash??

It's very difficult sometimes to get the tone of what is being said when you are not speaking face to face and a lot of things can be mis-interpreted or mis-read.

There was nothing to sort out really - just case of mistaken identity.
