AOL Explorer?

I was just browsing on my family computer (the one I dont use) and I noticed an odd program. It's AOL Explorer.

Does anyone know anything about this? We used AOL back when I was like 10 and I asways hated how you had to load the biggest resource hog in the world just to get online. Have they finally heeded to public demand and created a lite version? Or is this old news? The explorer to me didnt seem bad. Tabbed browsing and didnt mess up any of my layouts. But it doesnt support 24-bit PNGs. Whats up?

I fully agree with you as i am using avant instead of ff or ie and its perfect.

Yea it got installed on my computer to when I updated AIM, they are tricky.

Anyway, does anybody use yahoos service and updated their browser? Its pretty beautiful, MUCH better then before. Tabbed browsing, a sidepanel which shows you you have mail, when your friends sign on, News, Sports, Calendar...everything. Yahoo did something good!

imy first browser's avant and yeah it was good but so far, im enjoying Firefox.

I really dislike AOL. Like how their customer service representatives are trained to make it as hard as possible to cancel.

Oh I know. Not to mention the diifficulty when you have AOL DSL trough Verizon, and you want to slwitch to Verizen DSL
